How quickly do you reply?

We aim to answer genuine questions within two working days. Reports of a suspected calculation error are prioritised — we re-derive the figure from the published formula before replying, so those occasionally take a little longer but always get an explanation.

What should I include when reporting a wrong result?

Accepted Answer

Four things: the calculator name, the exact inputs you entered, the result the page gave you, and the result you expected (with your own working if you have it). That lets us reproduce the case immediately instead of guessing.

Can you check my mortgage, tax return or medical result?

Accepted Answer

No. We explain how a calculation works and will happily clarify a formula, but we cannot give personalised financial, tax, legal or medical advice. For decisions with real consequences, speak to a qualified adviser, accountant or clinician.

Can I suggest a new calculator?

Please do — reader suggestions drive most of our roadmap. Tell us the calculation, who needs it and the situation it solves. Tools that are widely needed and can be computed transparently move to the front of the queue.

Question 5

Do you accept guest posts, link exchanges or sponsored calculators?

Accepted Answer

No. DailyCalc carries no advertising, affiliate lending links or paid placements, and we do not publish sponsored content. Editorial independence is the reason the tools are worth trusting.

Question 6

What happens to the details I send?

Accepted Answer

Your name, email, topic and message are stored solely so we can reply and, where relevant, fix the affected page. They are kept for up to 24 months and never sold or used for marketing. Ask us and we will delete your message sooner.
